We are in Pahrump at a park and there is a Classic with burgundy stripe three spots down from us. We have yet to see the owners outside to talk to them.

Hilarious! My wife was like, "...you don't think that's creepy?" when I showed her the first post. Unbeknownst to her, if you'd been behind me in an AS, I would've likely crashed my rig just to get the photo of yours in my rear-view.
It's a 74 and we're undertaking as many tidy-up jobs on her as we can afford after laying out the cash for her and the newer Dodge. On the fence over the polish, but with the oxidization up top, I think it is in our future.
Little leaks, odd problems here and there and refreshing the interior fixtures have kept us busy enough in our rare free moments.

we just LOVE those little leaks. A year and a half and she's still sprining a leak here, a leak there, but so far not every where...knock on wood.
Oh wait, I don't have any in my trailer!!

I like the leak coming in through the TV Outlet / "12V Outlet" (pretty advanced, calling it that in 1974!) just above the 110V courtesy outlet.
This is right up above the credenza at the kitchen bulkhead. No windows above it or obvious points of entry. I'm thinking that, perhaps, there could be a window or perhaps antenna mount on the roof (which I have explored zero) that might be allowing the water in.
In the ongoing theme of leaking and water inside Ohana, the single handle shower mix valve decided to pack it in after last weekend's trip. It was good the entire weekend, and then I noticed that the head was dripping steadily as we unpacked at home. I have not removed it, but it looks like a Moen-style cartridge for the single handle.
Ohana 74 will be getting her own thread shortly and then everyone can come ridicule me there instead of my having to continually hijack threads like this!

The trailer sports a unique 1968 only tail light setup that was used on the base Land Yacht trim level (the International trim level got different tail lights in housings). Being a tandem, it must be at least 24' long and it doesn't look much longer to me. The fridge vent location next to the door suggests it is double bed model if it is 24' long or a twin bed model if 26' long. Therefore I will suggest that it most likely is a 1968 24' Tradewind Land Yacht (not International) with a double bed. But there is a small chance that it may be a 1968 26' Overlander Land Yacht with twin beds.

Not to dispute, only to add to discussion, my 68 Trade Wind has lights in housing, but is not an International. Had center double opposite the kitchen, front twins/dining table, rear bath. Ohio built.

I pretty much agree with everything you say, but I stand by my analysis of the Airstream in the photos.
I have only seen that tail light setup on 1968 "non-Internationals", but I do believe that I have seem some 1968 "non-Internationals" with a different tail light setup, if that makes sense.
Your floor plan is what I believe would be considered the official 1968 Tradewind "twin bed" setup, with the twins forming a dinette at the front and a pull-out goucho across from the mid kitchen. I would not be surprised if there were also 1968 Tradewinds built with center twins and a front goucho as had been popular in earlier years, but that setup is not shown in the 1968 Airstream brochure. The truth is that Airstream brochures rarely if ever showed all possible floor plans.

Heres a sighting; 2 AS in this small town, (not counting mine) 1 at a used trl dealer, the other sitting in an old car dealer lot, the one at the dealer is a 76 model 30 ft sovergn, the other looks like an early to mid 70's.

I saw a good-looking 34' at the ABC campground in Branson this weekend, but didn't see anyone around. No tow vehicle either. It had red numbers 2383 on the roof. Maybe it will be at the AIR Midwest rally in two weeks.

Saw this beauty at the Agricultural Grounds in Aylmer, Ontario. It was in fine condition and has a heavyweight domestic air conditioner on it. If the owner of this Argosy is a forum member then a) you have a fine trailer and b) hope you didn't mind me taking a photograph.

MrUKToad that sure looks like smokeless Joe's Argosy. The location is also near his neck of the woods.
