A wheel question

well, i pm'd andy and emailed the guys at inland, but no reply yet so here goes-perhaps ya'll (andy included) can help me out. I have an 85 excella that is equipped with an alloy wheel that looks very much like the vintage american racing wheel called "ansen sprint". of course it is 7x15 with 6 on 5.5 bolt center. american racing still lists a 8x15 with 6 on 5.5. Will it be okay on the A/S? the reason I am asking is that my spare is a steel wheel, and I would like to have 5 alloys...I would like to have 5 that match so they can all be in rotation together.
how are the original wheels? do these become suspect with age? I don't know. they probably have many fewer miles on them than the wheels on my TV, so they are okay, but I have not found a glimmer of any original wheels for sale. Can you help me out?

The OEM trailer wheels have a load rating of 2600 #'s. Your replacement should be there too.

Wheels do not go bad from age. They only go bad if physically damaged or if they sustain rust damage. In those cases further damage the wheels so they can not be used and pitch them.

Good luck onn your search.
