Source for those flimsy white light covers

I know this must be on here somewhere...

Does anyone know where I can find them? They cover the ceiling lights in my 64 Overlander. Mine are all cracked.

Also, the even flimsier inside cupboard cover for the light over the kitchen sink... should I replace that with something else? What have YOU done?

The opaque coverings that go in ceiling tiles under fluorescent lights - They are a buck or two at the hardware store. Cut them with an xacto knife to size. Use a heat gun to get them warm. Use your existing light covers (or anything with the appropriate radius) as a form. With a gentle touch you can heat them up so they'll bend (but not melt) then cool them back off.

check this link about half way down the page.Inland RV Center Inc.. Only place I know to find covers for 64 model. Most answers you get are irrvelavant so wade thru the answers and someone will actually read your post and give you correct answers. I have a 64 overlander I am restoring so I have learned for every answer you get for a question you will get 20 answers and 1 actually answers your question. Hope this helps.

I was switching out my incandescent bulbs with LEDs and when I came to the light in the storage compartment I couldn't get the cover on completely. I unscrewed the light from the wall and found the lens would snap on barely but when screwed onto the side of the trailer I guess the light frame gets tweaked a bit and flexes the frame to prevent the light lens from snaping on. Even loosening the screws so the frame is loose I couldn't get the lens on. I just left it partially on. Even the shower lens which is a softer translucent white and more flexible than the hard clear lens of the storage light wouldn't snap on. I was going to look for another translucent lens but after testing it I didn't bother looking. Everything seems so hard to fix on an Airstream.
