This is definitely an example of a Poor design. While we were doing our orientation with the tech, the day we picked up our new 2015 AS, one of the claw hooks snapped off as the tech was showing us how to operate the awning.

A few years ago someone posted that they had machined claw hooks but I never saw another post on how they worked out. I have broken 3 so I carry a spare. I will get the new spacers and give that a try. I have not broken any on our 30' Classic but I don't like the wobble in the claws.
