Water plumbing problem

I have a 2010 flying cloud. My problem is that when I hook up to curb water and
turn it on it goes into my water tank and fills it and will contuine to flow out the air bleeder hole by the tank fill location, I also have water flow thur the spigots in the trailer at the same time. Any ideas would really help. My guess is that at the pump something is stuck open? Thanks Wayne in wyoming

Others have said this indicates that the backflow checkvalve in the pump has failed.

Welcome to the forum, Wayne! Ditto to Larry that it sounds like the pump's backflow check valve is stuck open. Try turning the city water off, opening a faucet or two, and turn the pump on and off quite a few times. Sometimes the debris inside the check valve will clear itself out. After you have lowered the water level in the tank this way, re-connect the city water and run some faucets. If the problem persists, repeat the above process. If no joy after 30 minutes +/- of work, it is possible that you will have to replace/rebuild the pump, as I believe the check valve is integral to the pump. Not sure though.

BTW, the best way to prevent any fouling of this and other check valves is to always use an inline water filter, both for city water and also when you are filling the water tank via the hose inlet fill tube.

For example: https://www.amazon.com/Camco-40043-T...e+water+filter

If the campground water system uses a private well, a filter is especially important to use IMO. Even good city water can have fine particulate debris in it, due to repair work on the water mains.

Good luck!
