repair facilities in Atlanta area?

I have a 2006 Quicksilver 16' Bambi which needs an good stem to stern check up with possible plumbing repairs.
Does anyone know of a good, reliable, knowledgeable place I could take it, near Atlanta preferably?

I don't know of any place in the Atlanta area. We bought our 2011 A/S from Camping World in Alpharetta I believe it was. Apparently they no longer sell A/S. It's a hike, but JD Sanders in Alachua, FL does excellent work.

I'm not sure how reliable and good but dandy RV does warranty repair still - located in I think Oxford Alabama - probably 2 hours west of ATL -

They no longer sale airstreams but do (for now) still do work on them for warranty stuff or otherwise

No idea if they are any good though....hope they are and stick around as they are but an hour from me in Birmingham

We took our Airstream to Dandy for plumbing repairs and some other items a couple of years ago. It took several weeks and many trips to their shop for them to "complete" the work. After many $, I had to redo much of the work myself to get it done to my satisfaction.

I would not recommend them to my friends.

Other than the SKIN there is nothing unique about an Airstream. Look for a Good RV shop in your area and have the work done locally. All the parts are common RV parts and plumbing is plumbing.

I know Skaterio lives on the North side of Atlanta and does some Airstream work. Send a PM (Private Message). I am going to have Rob do some work on the frame of our 1970 as soon as I lift the shell.

The two Camping World locations who sell and service Airstreams in the Atlanta area are in Woodstock (NW of Atlanta) and Oakwood (NE of Atlanta). I have not used either for any type of service work.

In Marietta, Threeway Campers (a family business open since 1952) was an Airstream dealer for decades and many of the their techs remain from those days. I used them for a refrigeration issue I had no time to tackle personally. With that exception, I do all my own upgrade and maintenance work. Luckily they were able to get me in and out within two days of my call and I had no complaint with their work.

I just had some work done by Stephen at All Pro Mobile RV Repair in the Atlanta area and he was wonderful. He really knew his stuff.
