I removed both rear twin beds to repair the subfloor, then re-installed the twin beds but wound up with an extra board on both sides. I can't believe that I didn't take pictures before I disassembled them.
The left over boards are about 3' long with an angle cut on each end and 2 holes drilled on each end. But where do they go?
If you have rear twin beds please look under the mattress and see where the extra board might properly go.
These are some pictures of my 1986 twins that I took before I took them apart to repair the floors. I'm not sure if they're the same as yours, but maybe they'll help you out.....
Thanks for the photos. Unfortunately your set up and mine don't look alike. I have gotten some ideas from your set up as to how I could provide more support for my pillow end of the bed however.
Will wait to see if any more photos or ideas come in before I start work, since it is so cold that I prefer to stay inside for now. Thanks.
