Original Thetford toilet updrade to mew model

I’m trying to upgrade the original equipment Thetford aqua magic toilet to a new model. The problem is the old toilet is mounted with screws at approximately 11 o’clock and 5 o’clock. The new toilet mounts at 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock. First question I suppose is do I need a new seal? Or can I repurpose the old one. And how do I take the current mounting bracket and rotate it so that I can mount the new toilet?

As an aside... if possible, I would like to remove what is there completely in order to extend the life of the subfloor with some absolv wood epoxy around the hole. Is this wishful thinking? Would removing the mounting bracket mean I won’t be able to find another that fits? Is this more trouble than it’s worth? Advise.

You may be in luck. There is another A$ guy in Conifer. Look for dbj216.
He has a lot of experience and may be willing to guide you thru it.
I had the same issue you are faced with. It's been 9 years since I completed the task.
I do remember the toilet flange unscrews from the tank. I did build a new platform for the toilet.
If you can't find help I will dig thru my records to see what I can find.
