Instructions on how to replace rubbers on termination valve thetford

Hi,

I have just received my thetford Slide EZ valve replacement set it contains some o-rings and a gasket seal. Great ! but I have no clue on how to start replacing them, who can give me simple instructions? For example, do I start off by loosening the belly pan, or can I start elsewhere? I own a 1971 Overlander, and the termination valve is situated on the back side, where the bumper sits. After emptying our tank last time,we could not completely shut the "guillotine", as there was something blocking the passage, it seemed to be a rubber ring, so I think it needs a new one.I am sorry for my poor english, but I am dutch, so please be mild with technical words on me...
Thanks for your tips, we want to start this weekend, as weather conditions will be mild, first time this year, and the Airstream is now outside, that's why.

Cheers,

Pieter and Kai

When your all done, you will have but one question.

Why didn't I replace the valve and save all the headaches?

We do not recommend gasket changes on valves that are old.

Way too many problems.
