So, as I am cleaning wasp nests, mouse droppings and nicotine stained crud from my new (?)
1961 Tradewind, I finally get to the overhead kitchen bin. This trailer, that I hauled off a farm where it sat for 15+ years in very surprisingly good shape, just filthy, has given me fits trying to figure out how things work. So I reach into the cabinet and there is this big manilla envelop. In it are all the original documents from
1961. Catalogs of accessories, how to light the Dometic M50, the water filter manual, literally everything! There are also handwritten instructions from perhaps the original owner to the next telling him how to start up the trailer when traveling. Gold mine. And on top of everything, it is all in pristine condition. Now to just find the time to read it all!
