dang it! lost a hubcap

The south road to Sequoia was a bit more challenging than anticipated. Upon arriving in camp one of the hubcaps had gone AWOL. A picture is attached. I would appreciate a lead on where I could purchase a replacement.
The grey water tank also spring a leak but I haven't had a chance to see where the leakage is coming from. If it is the tank, I may see if a replacement with a larger tank is practical.

A member had some for sale recently, when another member also lost one on a bumpy road. If they don't chime in, these show up on ebay from time to time. I know it doesn't look as good, but I take mine off for traveling.

I'll be following the advice of you and others about removing them for travel from now on!!! I should soon be able to assemble one really good set to put on my Silver Olive. In addition to the few originals from the PO, I purchased some from folks on this site. Keep looking on the Airforums Classifieds and Ebay. They're out there!!!

I have seen them on ebay. The sale prices have ranged from $25 to $200 per hubcap.
Other less unique 15" hubcaps can be had for a couple bucks at junkyards. Your hubcaps were used on both Airstreams and Argosys

Jason,

Started off with the aluminum version, just couldn't keep them on.

The stainless stay attached much better.

kicker was I had to use 2 screwdrivers to get them off before I left home to put air in the tires. That hubcap made it 3000 miles till I hit some really bad road...

here's the link to the ebay hubcaps, which look pretty good. And, so far, cheap!
