Damaged Wheel well

I recently blew out a tire on the streetside and as the tire disintegrated the steel belts and tire remnants whipped around and did some pretty significant damage to the plastic wheel well liner on my trailer. I reckon I have 2 options here: 1. replace the entire plastic wheel liner assembly or 2. try and repair the cracks in the existing material. Option one looks like a massive job...crawling around under the trailer it looks like the wheel well liner has to be removed from the inside of the trailer..which means removing the fridge, shower, tons of cabinets, etc. I don't want to do that if it can be avoided. Looking at the large number of people on the Airforum who have blown out tires I am guessing I am not the first one with this issue. If anyone out there has any thoughts/advice or has gone through this before I would really appreciate your advice. Thanks !
