It is normal as long as it looks the same from both ends. As the previous poater said, that is ro prestress or preload it for travel. In 20 years when it flattens out and the rubber inside the tube stiffens it will be why you'll need to replace the axle.

I had a concern about the belly pan in the photo as well. It appears to bow down a little in the middle. Again, I don’t know if this is normal or something to be concerned about?
The belly pan is just a piece of sheet metal. It will never be perfectly dead flat. Rumble down the road for a few years and it's not going to be that shiny and clean either
