Add air to 1969 Caravel-Help

I just purchased a 1969 Caravel and would like to replace the furnace with an airconditioner if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions regarding if this can be done, and who can do it. My trailer is located in Austin, TX so would love to find someone around there to do the work. In Texas, we need air a lot more than we need heat!!

Here in Texas

You can see a few floor level AC installations here in the forums. I still recommend North Dallas RV for all old (and new) Airstream work. 1-800-359-6378. They have my 69 Caravel right now.
