Shouldn't be too hard to find. That model was never sold in US, let alone with a camper on a cab chassis. Unless it has been hidden for export, it should be located.

Thank you very much for your help.

The doughter of Alfred & Katrin created a new facebook account, because it is not allowed to have an account for a car.

Please share it and help to find "Dino" the Landcruiser with the loud diesel engine.

Wow--sounds like good news. I hope that "they" haven't made a mess of it.

Bad news:

Only the car was found, it is totally damaged and the camper shell is still missing.

We are waiting for photos.

Wrecker didnt say anything, had to fly to USA to pick it up and pay 30$ per day on the wreckers place. Very friendly...

Toyota will be shipped back to Germany to rescue some spare parts ... end of the USA journey.

So now we have pictures:

Camper shell is still lost, licence plates are lost, effluent tank is lost, windshield is broken, door locks are broken, ignition lock is broken, it can drive but it is not impossible to live in it without shell. With a 1 $ plate it was possible to bring it to the shipping company.
Now it is on the way back to germany and thats the end of the journey.

If anybody will find the shell, please contact us. Thank you very much for your help.

What a shame that you travelled all that distance through what many here would consider as hostile territory or bandit country only to fall victim to bandits in America. I am sorry to hear about your misadventure.
