Yes, a great place to eat, but now inexpensive for dinner. We've not stayed in the hotel but had a memorable dinner a few years ago.

Lucy is still camped in Williams, Arizona. We headed out this morning to tour some of the towns in the area. We started out by going over to Flagstaff, where we looked around for awhile. We had lunch at the Club (Sam's Club, that is) in Flagstaff.
From there we went down to Sedona. We saw Cathedral Rock and toured the town. Sedona is a tourist town, and it was very crowded.
We went on to see Cottonwood, Clarkdale, and Jerome. The twisty Highway 89A from Jerome to Prescott was a challenge for Fred, the Truck, to handle, but he made it through just fine.
We stopped at Prescott to see the town. The Cicada Bugs were in full song mode in Prescott. Their song was quite loud. We looked around some, but were glad to move away from the Cicada song.
We came back up to Interstate 40 on Arizona 89. Once we hit I-40, it was a short run back to Williams. We arrived back at Lucy just before dark, and got settled in.
Today's pictures include:
- Downtown Flagstaff.
- Old Flagstaff RR Station.
- Cathedral Rock, Sedona.
- Unusual blooming cactus in Sedona.
- 1928 Clarkdale High School.
- 1960's Streamline in Clarkdale.
- Main Street, Clarkville.
- Coming into Jerome.
- View of Clarkdale from the mountain.
- Downtown Prescott, Arizona.

Morning Brian:
We spend a really nice week in Williams last spring (March) before the tourists showed up. The south rim was great and not busy at all. Cannot imagine the zoo it might be this time of year...
I have a couple quick questions for you. What system do you use to access the internet while on the road. I'm assuming your not relying on campground WIFI, as I note your uploading large images (data heavy) so I'm assuming it must be some type of cell based MIFI system.
Next I'm noting your uploading 10 images in each post. How do you do that?
Thanks
Doug

Hi Doug,
Williams does seem kind of crowded with tourists, but I'm sure it was even worse during the height of the summer season. I think things may have weaned off since the kids have started going back to school. We were able to get a nice 5 point hook-up campsite at the Passport America rate.
As to our Internet connection, we use SuEllyn's Verizon Android smart phone. She has an old plan with unlimited data and we create an Internet hot spot using the FoxFi android app. We have been very satisfied with this system. It has worked well for us even when we have a marginal cell phone system. We also sometimes use a Wilson cell phone signal boost system when the cell signal is insufficient. This unit can often make the difference. As to campground Wifi, it is very often insufficient to do anything. It is getting better, though. Campgrounds are finally getting the message that good Internet access is essential for their customers. This campground that we are at in Williams has great Wifi Internet access.
We do take and load our trip photos at a small size, usually less than 1 MB. Our average trip photo is about 800 KB. Also, we use AOL as our ISP. AOL mail has a feature that allows us to post photographs within the body of the text and not as attachments. This feature also has an option to post photos more efficiently for email transmission. I use this option. The trip posts that I make to the Forums are similar to a group email that we send to friends and family.
As to your last question about post 10 pictures at a time, I don't know. I thought that all supporting members had the same photo posting privileges. When I post photos to the Forums with the Manage Attachments feature, I initially get a screen to post 4 pictures. I select these 4, and when they load, I get another screen that allows the posting of 4 more pictures. When these load, I get yet another screen that allows the posting of two more photos, for a total of 10.
Brian

Thanks very much for this Brian. I will give the (over-4) image upload trick a try.
Thanks again

We are still camped in Williams, Arizona. Today we headed up to Grand Canyon National Park which is about 60 miles north of Williams.
We spent several hours checking out the various viewpoints of the Canyon in the Park. The Grand Canyon is probably one of the most spectacular sights in this country. It was a cloudy rainy day at the Canyon, but we still enjoyed our visit immensely.
We were most pleased to find that we were not required to ride the shuttle buses. We were able to drive Fred and Ethel to all of the areas and viewpoints that we wanted to visit.
We were pretty tired out at the end of the day and made our way back to Lucy in Williams.
Today's pictures include various views of the Grand Canyon.

We love it when only buses are on the rim road because we're on our bike.

We are all still in Williams, Arizona. Today was Fred's day off. He has been working so hard that he has come due for a well-deserved oil change. This morning , we took Fred over to the Chevrolet Dealer in Flagstaff. They were able to take him right in for an oil change. Fred was done in about an hour, and we spent some time looking around Downtown Flagstaff.
We made our way back to the campground in Williams. We started getting Lucy ready for departure tomorrow. We plan to head down to Lake Havasu City, Arizona to visit with SuEllyn's cousin.
Today's pictures include:
- Gateway to Williams.
- Fred getting his oil change.
- Fred is done and ready to go.
- 1926 Flagstaff Railway Station.
- 1929 Church of the Nativity, Flagstaff
- Gargoyles on Church.
- 1927 Monte Vista Hotel, Flagstaff.
- Sunset over Lucy at the campground.

Lucy broke camp this morning in Williams. We headed west on Interstate 40 through Seligman and Kingman. We exited I-40 at Arizona 95 where we headed south to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Today's 150 mile run on Interstate 40 in our longest Interstate of this trip.
We arrived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona late this afternoon. We got Lucy settled into a nice campsite overlooking Lake Havasu. It was 102 degrees here when we arrived. Lucy's air conditioner worked overtime to get her cooled down.
We went out to dinner at the Montana Steak House, and looked around town for a while before heading to the Lake Havasu City Wal-Mart for some supplies.
We got back to Lucy shortly after dark. She had cooled down pretty well, and we got settled in for the night.
Today's pictures include:
- Route 66 in Seligman.
- More of Seligman.
- Coming into Kingman.
- Lake Havasu City.
- Neighborhood in Lake Havasu City.
- Sunset over Lake Havasu.

Hi jay,
We have been to Parker a number of times. SuEllyn's cousin here in Lake Havasu City was born and raised in Parker. SuEllyn's Aunt and Uncle owned the furniture store in Parker for many years. They came here from Georgia in the 1930's.

Lucy is camped at Lake Havasu City, Arizona. We went out this morning and visited the London Bridge. Lake Havasu City bought the 1832 London Bridge in 1971, dismantled it stone by stone, brought it here, and reassembled it. It is a major tourist attraction. We crossed the Bridge and took some pictures.
We met with SuEllyn's cousin, Jim, and his wife, Carole, for lunch. We had a great visit. We went back to Jim and Carole's house to continue our visit. We came back to Lucy a little before dark and started breaking camp. We plan to head up to Las Vegas tomorrow.
Today's pictures include:
- Lake Havasu from Lucy's campground.
- 1832 London Bridge.
- Bridge roadway in Lake Havasu city.
- Original London Bridge Brass Sign.
- London Bridge Light.
- Lake Havasu City from across the Bridge.
- Lucy At her campsite in Lake Havasu City.

There have been many "London Bridge's" over the centuries. Lake Havasu has one, London has another, some of the real old ones made of wood burned down. Then they built them of stone. I guess it is better to have one than none. If the southwest drought continues you'll be able to drive across the river.
I hope you guys don't get too wild in Vegas. Will you cease posting there as things that happen there don't leave? You might even see a moose on the Strip.

Yes, we did stop in Seligman to hit the Post Office there with some Moose Tags. We saw the Snow Cap, but did not go by.

Hi Gene,
I will try to keep SuEllyn from getting out of hand while we are visiting Las Vegas. We will continue to post from Las Vegas as the information will only be disclosed to this small discreet group.
We will be on the lookout for that Moose,
Brian

Again, we missed that feature. Thanks for the tip. When we go back, we will be sure to check it out.

We broke camp in Lake Havasu City this morning. We headed up to I-40 where we headed west into California. We got off at US 95, and continued north into Nevada. We arrived in Las Vegas in mid afternoon. We got Lucy a nice campsite on the southeast side of town.
We ventured out and had a nice supper at the Sam's Town Casino near the campground. We went downtown to Fremont Street and partook of the activities there. It was really nice to see some of the historic casinos on Fremont Street. We stayed until after dark to see the lights come on. It was a really impressive sight.
We took a quick ride along the Las Vegas Boulevard Casino Strip before heading back to Lucy. we will be staying here several days to do more exploring.
Today's pictures include:
- Coming into Needles, California.
- Main Street, Needles.
- Needles Theatre.
- US 95 in the lonely California Desert.
- Joshua Tree near Searchlight, Neveada.
- The Las Vegas Stratosphere Tower.
- Entering Downtown Las Vegas.
- Las Vegans on their work on Fremont Street
- 1942 Pioneer Club Sign.
- The golden Nugget Casino.
