Hi. A friend has asked me to sell his 1957 Airstream Bambi 16' travel trailer. It is in excellent original condition. It is good enough to use as it is for years to come. It was number 433 on the production line. We did add some brand new wheels and tires with baby moon hub caps. What is the market for this type of trailer? It is in excellent staight condition.

Talking not sure how to clarify.....

i belong to a couple of vintage sites and when this showed up in my email inbox i wanted to get it posted over here quick...there is an email link for whoever posted it.....i would just send an email and ask for pics or something.....

clearly, i have no interest in this trailer whatever it may turn out to be....i simply posted a quote from an email that i thought would interest some people here at airforums...that is the extent of my involvment...

With a "production number" of "433" (assuming that was taken from the plate by the door, it looks like a '58 Bubble to me...they were a precursor to Bambis. A lot of people call any small Airstream a "Bambi" because it's cute. Many of them didn't have nametags so an uneducated owner could just assume it's a Bambi. With a VIN number or picture of the plate, more info could be confirmed.

Regardless, it's cute as a button! Would love to see some pics of the inside...

Yup, looks like a Bubble to me. Would also like to see some pictures of the insides. Asking price seems pretty high though, unless it's in just about perfect shape.
