The balance of the Airstream line was pre-wired for air conditioning in
1964, but the Bambi II may have been an exception to the general rule. One clue as to whether the coach was pre-wired is the existence of an unused circuit breaker or circuit breaker bay. The other issue to be considered is that you will need the factory specification for location of the air conditioner -- the factory bracing and wiring were not generally run to an existing roof vent, rather the location was determined by a measurement from the front main roof bow to the rear where the hole for the air conditioner mounting would be cut. One possibility would be to contact customer support at the factory using the information below:

I know that I have seen several '64 Bambi II coaches fitted with air conditioning so know that it has been done, but the precise location for the installation opening and whether it would have pre-wire available are both question marks.
Good luck with your research!
