A lot of old trailers get turned into hunting cabins. Or, guest quarters behind the vacation house. Some trailers are too far gone. Etc.
No, I don't expect to find another interior this nice. The beauty of this particular one is, first, the quality of the interior construction (extremely well-chosen materials by Silver Streak), and its condition.
But, I'd rather have a shorter trailer and/or rear bedroom next time. And, I enjoy this sort of work, restoration, renovation and upgrades. Plus, the cost of having it sit in covered storage with electric over a few years is about what I plan to spend to put in a pad with electric and sewer. And, with a shorter trailer, I only have to cut down one tree. Etcetera.
If nothing else, I hope these photos 86 the idea that S/S trailers had "dark" interiors; a feeling of being closed in. As you can see, judicious choices can allay that "problem".
And eighteen feet of wraparound, smoked glass jalousie windows demonstrates the beauty of the design: great views & great privacy.
So max out these photos, and enjoy. I've had a great deal of inspiration in seeing the A/S trailers, and, especially, the renovation threads & blogs. Maybe something here will be of help on your project.

Thought I'd add another selection for you sharp-eyed A/S owners to compare on some exterior shots:

More: (Note that in above set, and below, that there are about [5] thirty-foot long panels for the roof and undercarriage).

And, yet more: TL is the port-side, rear, under-berth outside storage door for [1] 45A Intellicharger with Wizard; [2] CATV, Telephone connections; [3] plumbing runs to water heater & bathroom from city connection & tank; [4] some assorted wiring (the 50A service panel is to the rear and above inside bathroom [trailer service is 30A]. This compartment holds all electrical cords, etc. I was going to add a HUGHES Autoformer, relocate the converter, install a hardwired surge guard and install an insulated chase over plumbing.
Water heater to right (inside bath, next to toilet; open closet door and lift a single panel). Bottom row photos are of undercarriage and HADCO axles. (Corrugated paneling is access to fresh water tank).

The new owners were kind enough to enclose several photos in a recent e-mail; at her new home in the Texas Hill Country:

A favorite that keeps popping up on the screen saver: Is there a better place to take a nap?

Hey red, ask the new owners what they are going to do with the wheel locks, if they are not going to use them let them know you have someone who will buy the set from them. I wish I had seen this before you sold it cause I would have talked you out of them.
I am guessing the new owners will buy one of the new style wheel locks this is why I asked, also I have a 34WB and only have 1 set and would like another.

I understand. That set was made in Tyler, TX. I cleaned them (busted the dirt off, but not quite shiny; a casting), and had to have some aluminum welding done on one or both. Had to grind just a bit to get padlock shackles through. Used double-nuts and red Loctite to make it a bit harder for someone to bypass padlocks. I really like -- about that design -- that once tires are in place that it only takes one adjustment, and then just a lever throw. Very handy on the scales or at the side of the road.
I'll try their email address to see if there is a response. Further PM's for the subject.

Thanks. The trailer I have now (for only a time) is not nearly as nice, so I miss that 3411 at times (mainly because the work was done). Much of what we learned on that one (and in the meantime at AIR) will be applied to the next one (which will be a permanent purchase as I'm now a fulltimer). A rear bedroom is what was wanted, and is what is still wanted, the reason for selling in main.
