Tradewind History for my VIN

The Serial Number of my 1963 Tradewind 24' is 243T126 - looking for any history that may reveal.

Much thanks!

It's a 24' 1963 twin bed, and the 126th one made.

Thanks

That is interesting - does twin bed just mean not full bed because I actually have three beds (souble plus one upper buk)?

I could use a little help. Just bought what I think is a late model 1963 24' Twin Tradewind. The interior looks just like the pictures for a twin. In fact every thing looks orginal. It is the right stove, water heater, wood work, right layout and refrigator but does have a plactic water tank. It does have a 12 volt system and 110 (which is why I thought late model 63). Title says 1963 but the numbers do not jive with what is being said here. The VIN is 042S4082. On the big plate by the door it says 642S4082 same as the VIN. Small State of Cal plate reads M4 S4082 3770.

Solved my own problem at the Airatream web site. They have a serial number break out by year. Airstream numbered differently in 64 than 63. What I belive I have is a 64 model purchased in the fall of 63. Also the documentation I have included a 64 model price list effective Aug 1 of 63.
