1973 Silver Streak Continental Rocket
I just became the proud owner of a 1973 Silver Streak. It is already mostly gutted, with some original paneling around the inside top, but most of the other paneling is a hodge podge of random bits. Clearly been quite a bit of mice incursions in the venting.
I'm going to put in bamboo (strand) flooring, but am trying to figure out whether I should rip out the paneling and old insulation or not. A previous owner has left random open wiring everywhere. I'm toying with the idea of just ripping what random bits are left out and starting over! I'm going to maybe put a wall in the middle; for an office area up front and storage/extra living space in the back. Glad I don't need it to go on the road, there also appears to be a bit of weakness in one area of the aluminum belly. Thoughts on how to seal that up?
(I have ZERO construction experience, but always a first time!)
(trying to upload photo - but not sure if it is working or not.)
