What's behind door #1
I cannot figure out if this is actually a door. It has a knob and hinges at the bottom but it doesn't want to open. I have tugged on it almost to the point of breaking something. It is in the bathroom of a 2003 Classic 25' I just purchased. Any ideas what is going on?

Looks like access to the rear of the water heater.

I had a door like that but it ended up being velcroed. I was sure I was breaking something. I just stared at the corner and worked it down and off. Maybe obvious, have you searched from the otherside / outside?

The water heater is further to the rear. I believe the wheel well is behind it.
It doesn't even look like a door. The sides seem sealed. It's just weird that it has hinges and a knob.

My trailer has one like it. The fender well is behind it. You can get to some plumbing through it. I don't want store anything hard in there that might damage the wiring or plumbing. I put toilet paper and paper towels in it.....it just pulls open.

That's what I was thinking...
Maybe it is access to the water heater bypass or some plumbing or wiring or all of the above...

Yes it covers the fender well and some piping
I use it to store my tank treatments and spare water pump. Stuff does fall forward of the wheel well and is difficult to retrieve
The door is hinged on the bottom and is typically very difficult to open since the catch is seldom operated... "pull Hard"

Try wiggling up and down and left and right while pulling...

Does the know turn at all?? Might need to run a blunt blade or credit card around the edge to loosen the seal.

I pulled as hard as I am comfortable doing. Something Is fixing to break. Since the reward is possibly only a very small area behind the door, I am not going to risk tearing it up.

If you zoom in it looks like there's screws driven in from above down into the door on either side of the knob...

Yes. And it looks like there are two lines marking their location as if the previous owner did that to make finding them easier.
Look at the knob, go up to the trim and about 2" to the right and left you'll see the marks. See if there are screws there / take them out and either push in or pull out. I'm betting you push in but I don't know for sure.

Ditto. Good catch Richie1983, and welcome to the forum!
It is also possible, however, that those are two small "set screws" driven UP into the bottom of the "head casing" trim IMO. Guessing that the catch behind the top of the door may be a "push to open" latch. Do you have others like this? They are often brown plastic, and can fail in the "locked" mode unfortunately. They can also fail to lock, especially with road vibration, so the prior owner may have installed set screws to keep the door closed.
Rbarlow, can you take a photo from floor level looking up at the area above the pull/knob?
Peter
