Thanks, you helped a new guy

The story about skin repair really came in handy. I blew a radial ply tire last summer on the right side of my '87 Avion. It really trashed the wheel well and the bottom of the wardrobe plus the skin aft of the wheel well. I told the repair guy about the Olympic rivets mentioned in the story so he'll be using them instead of pop rivets. This next is really important. When you replace tires, DON'T BUY RADIAL PLY TIRES. GET BIAS PLY TIRES. Those of you who have had a blown radial tire know the damage the cables in the blown tire that can cause. When a bias ply tire blows there is minimal damage.

Hi Jackleg,
Welcome to the forums. We always like to meet new members here.
Not required at all, but a bit of an intro and photos of your trailer are always interesting to us.
Nice to have you here,
Dave
