I am a retiree at the age of 54 and have a 3 year old Bambi International, 16'. Last August I took a three month road trip with my two old english sheepdogs and it was incredible. This spring I began cleaning out the storage area beneath the bed of the airstream and put my fist through the subfloor to discover growing mushrooms and mold. The camper had been leaking since I bought it and rotted out the floor. Airstream will not repair as it is out of warranty. The leak was not visibly evident to this pont. I will repair myself, but have believe this was a manufacturer's defect and should be repaired by them free of charge. Be that as it may, I will be making the repairs. I have removed most of the damaged subfloor which is confined to area beneath the bed, but not under the frame. I have lots of questions and will be using the forum as I attempt to get the camper road worthy while missing an awesome spring
