Hi all (you too Becky ). New to the forum. We are retired and live in Hot Springs, AR. Just bought a nice restored 76 Overlander from one of the forum members. Great experience, wonderful and helpful family. This is our 2nd Airstream and we are really liking the 76 Overlander. We've traveled Europe and now it's time to see the USA.
Hi Scotty, welcome to the forums!
Seeing the USA should keep you busy for the rest of your life. Having travelled coast to coast by vehicle more than once, it still amazes me how much is out there, and how much I have not yet seen.
Congrats on your purchase.
Dave
Welcome to the Airforums, Scotty...congrats on your AS and your plans to see the USA...lots of great places to see, and no better way to see them than in an Airstream!
Welcome to the forum, Scotty! Interesting. I am relatively new to the forum myself, and joined the Airstream community because I was gifted a '77 overlander from a friend in Pocahontas, Arkansas. I was just in your beautiful state picking it up last month. Restoration and a lot of TLC are needed but it's a fun project and the forum has been very helpful. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
There are a lot of nice people here that are more than willing to help you with any questions you might have. I have learned more here than any book could ever tell you.
Good luck with your new rig. I noticed that you live in Hot Springs, we will be up there next Friday night. We will be staying at Lake Ouachita State Park.
