Home Sweet Home

My wife and I as well as our small dog are strongly considering moving our 20'FC to our rural acreage and setting up as a small home. It is going to be considerably smaller than our 34' motorhome but I think that we will get used to the tighter quarters. Can anyone give me advice and suggestions?

My thought....if you add perhaps a screen room, covered deck, etc., it would greatly increase your living space and make life a bit more comfortable.

Good luck!

My current dream homestead is a 500 sq ft home with a 1000 sq ft enclosed pole barn to garage my trailer and TV when home from another voyage of discovery.

Here is a thread of a gent here on the board who built a shed like structure with an extra room. He lives in Northwest Arkansas near Fayetteville.

Turning Lemons into Lemonade.
Due to a change of circumstances of my landlady, so she needs her house back, I am moving this weekend. I would prefer not to move my stuff back into my house in Saco, Maine, which is on the market and where my ex is living while she tries to move on with her life. So, today I rented a self-storage unit for most of my stuff, and rented a site at a nearby summer vacation campground in Arundel, Maine. This should be fun, and a great way to try out living in my 20' Safari until the campground closes for the season on October 15th.
