And so it begins...
I've just moved in to my Tradewind full-time! My house is about to be demolished to make way for the construction of my new home and, as of today, no longer has power. I've pared down and got myself moved in. I'm trying out the oven with a pizza and the fridge is performing beautifully, as evidenced by the cold beer that I am now enjoying. I've mounted my 22" LCD TV to the wall and am watching M.A.S.H. The dogs are asleep - Samm by my feet and Kai on the gaucho beside me.
Life is good.

Wow, if you've got a place for the dogs, beer, and pizza, I'm wondering why you're building a new house?! Enjoy!

Well, congratulations, Cameron. Is the rebuilding of your house going to be a new TV series on home renos? Quick, call the local CTV affilliate, they may wind up financing part of it for you!
Oh, and I imagine that you will keep it on your lot at least until the Olympics are over? You will be able to rent out the TT for a zillion dollars then!

Congrats on getting moved into the AS, congrats on the new home to-be, and congrats on the beer, pizza, pooches, and TV. Life IS good!

Aage, the construction won't be televised. I will update my blog fairly regularly though, now that things are about to get moving.
Stef, maybe I'll just stay in the trailer and rent out the house!
Thanks, TB!

Well, jolly good luck with it. Construction projects always seem to have a way of finding a new and sometimes unexpected twist in things...

Life is about to get very interesting for you and the pups. Good luck with the build of the new pad. This should be fun to watch.

Well, the kids look comfy. Three beds should be just enough for those labs, but where will You sleep, Cam?
The one shot with the black lab getting onto the bed with the ball in his mouth reminds me of our Black Lab, Phoebe (gone ten years now). Phoebe lived for her ball. Just mention it, and if she didn't already have it near she would look around in a panic for it!

Samm loves his ball. As soon as I'm out of the shower, he's there with it waiting for me to toss it around for him.
Do you think they would each take their own bed to sleep on? Nope, they have to be on the front gaucho with me!

Fun pics! It's very sweet of Kai and Samm to let you stay in their Airstream.
