Check out his other eBay listings. Seems like the AS is at least seeing some activity.

I've got about $40k in mine between purchase, tires, updates, an maintenance. Probably another $5k to go for interior and exterior cosmetics. I'd like to think it worth $35 to $45k.

Dakota I think you're in the right ball park. I could easily see that coach being a 40 maybe 45K coach but not 115- 125K. For that kind of money you could easily buy a Prevost or GMC bus conversion from the same era. As much as I like AS, I also do like the Prevost and GMC bus conversions, but didn't want the car loan or maintenance costs.

I wonder what he bought it for??????

Cheers
Tony

1982 Airstream 310 Diesel for $5000 "buy it now" on eBay in Florida. Looks like it's in need of some love, but I would jump on it if it was in CA.

Classic MoHos for sale?

It's back!

Looks like $40k didn't meet the reserve.

If it were in California it wouldn't be in such moldy condition……..To whoever buys this rig….If you're planning on driving and using this coach you need to look at my "replacing a subfloor in a classic motorhome" thread because it looks like it's going to need a whole new everything.

It must have disappeared! Searched active, sold, and completed listings...can't find it. I'm looking for a 310 with the oil burner.

Nice looking '81 28-footer on Ebay

Just did my every once in a while Ebay search and found this one in Texas. More miles than most but rebuilt engine and looks nicely maintained. 1981 Airstream Excella motorhome Wohnmobil Le Camping Car Motorcoach | eBay

I know, I know, why flog a dead horse but this beauty is up for auction again.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1995-Airstre...gcnwOGhZvM%253

The last auction went to $40,000, nowhere near his reserve of $115,000.00 USD.

Hopeful bidding.
Cheers

Do they really go for this much?? Reminds me of the one sitting up the road from me. And she's beautiful, but been sitting there for quite a while at $129k:

The guy was asking $90k for the first 360 diesel I looked at. I pretty much gave up on finding one until one popped up on Craig's list of $42. I ended up paying $36. Shortly after that a couple came on the market that sold in the low $30s. One that was kinda rough went for about $25. I know of one that recently went for about $50.

They are unique machine and we love ours but you can get into some really nice more modern stuff in the $50 to $100k price range. Ya gotta be into projects and making it your baby to get into one of these 20 year old coaches.

Yeah...that is my whole intent. Airstream interiors do nothing for me, so I know I'm in for a full restoration and more than willing. But I really want a Classic for the styling and really want the Cummins for the power and my familiarity with the motor. Still looking

Well that listing didn't last long... Seems he's going to post closer to reserve now:

The Portland ad has been changed to show that this 310 is a 1982 with an Isuzu diesel, not a Ford.
