Motor / fan noise

When I plug my 24' Argosy into city power I get a running motor sound that eminates from under the sink or near there. There is a vent near the bottom of the sink stand that seems to be sucking air through the vent from this sound. Near as I can tell it is not the water pump which is located near the back. Is this an air exhaust vent for the bathroom.

I won't be hooking up to water or using the toilet and want to shut this thing off. How do I do this(shut it off). I could not find anything(at first glance) in the floor plans or schematics.

Maiden voyage to Pinery Provincial Park for Labour Day!

Cheers,
Chris

That's where the Intellipower that replaced the Univolt is located in my Trade Wind. It has a fan, like one in a computer, that cools the unit. It does not run when not plugged in because the Intellipower is not charging the battery.

My converter cooling fan does not run constantly, but fairly often.

my motorhome did that same thing if your talking about under the kitchen sink. It was the furnace solved problem by turning wall thermostat to off.

Hi kirkbride -- good answer (welcome to the forums BTW). That's a good step to start with.

Under the streetside stove is the HW heater (no noise) and the furnace is under the sink -- or was on my '74. My water pump was under the streetside armrest on the gaucho. While hearing the noise I'd probably get down low between the sink and gaucho -- figure which one it might be.

I think '76 was the same but the Univolt probably is under your bathroom wardrobe closet -- so unlikely to be the noise you're reporting.
