Fan noise

Hi everybody,

We have a 2006 Bambie 19' Safari and just love it. I have a question about a sound that we here. The sound seems to be coming from the pannel where the fuses are. It's almost as if there is a fan in there somewhere and that it is on some sort of timer. I don't know if the intervals between it starting and stopping are consistant or not. I suspect that this is normal but I'm just interested in knowing what it is. If anyone knows what it is I'd appreciate knowing what is going on.

Thanks Flyguy

The converter automatically runs its fan periodically.

From parallexpower.com

A regulated 12-volt power supply, the 7400 series, is maintenance free. It is so self-sufficient and quiet that you should not even know it is working except for the occasional cycling of the cooling fan when necessary

It is that "except for the occasional cycling of the cooling fan" that drives me crazy and voids the "quiet" statement made by Parallex.
