BTW, in case no one noticed from my avatar or my few other posts around the forums here...we've bought an Argosy motorhome! We will be in Harrisburg, PA this weekend to get it and drive it home. Sorry Ace, the schedule is tight...no time to stop by and say hello even though we'll be cruisin' by on I-76.

No, the Overlander isn't getting sold. I just have to decide which to bring to the Bash. Given the short distance from our home and the desire to get out and see the area, I'm pretty sure it will be the trailer. But, ya never know. That's the beauty of having two...one of them can be worked on and we've still go the other to camp in.

Now I need a bigger barn...

Anyone interested in celebrating Wally's birthday is welcome no mater what they come in. It is about the fellowship.

I spoke with Antsy today. He is all ready and stoked to be playing for us. He informed me that he is bring his wife and two of his kids and plans to be a part of the entire event. All the tween/ teen girls will be pleased to learn that one of them is Grant. I believe he is going to play around the campfire just like last year but with light amplification.

I agree. It's all about celebrating the birthday of the person that created our beloved brand. If others want to join in, great. I'd like to see them at open house, too.

Gas prices suck. I'm not sure what will happen in the upcoming future. I wish that everyone that has a camper held a trump card that allowed them the opportunity to buy gas or diesel at $1.00 a gallon. Unfortunately, none of us have that. We are left to the resolve that our camper is the instrument of freedom. It sucks that I must "budget" for the gas cost of going on a camping vacation. Nevertheless, I have resolved to do it. It's still more valuable to go camping for a long weekend than it is to fly to Vegas. And what you will receive at the Bash is priceless. I hope to see all 60 of the sign-ups there and 60 more.

Only 2 months to the Bash.

We are not really worried about the numbers. Our main goal is good music and good food, we have that covered.

The Man Is Not Going To Stop Me

The "MAN" is not going to stop me. I am adjusting my travel plans. Instead of hooking and rolling 900 miles to Maine one-way for a week in the North Woods. Which at todays gas prices would cost me around $800 round trip just for fuel. We are planning more shorter trips at 100 miles one-way or less. Still spending $800 for gas will get me 8 weekend trips. Looking at it this way i'm getting much more bang for the buck. Where we go is not as import. Just being able to camp with our friends and enjoying are Airstream is! We are still having fun. Saying all this. I'm lucky The Bash II is only 80 miles from home this year. But if it was back at Rob's or somewhere even more miles. I would be there. We are spending a full week at Bash II. At $10 a night per person and kids free what a deal. Compared to other rally with camping fees near $60 a night.

"Fail to Plan-Plan to Fail"

Ace in PA

Heading out this weekend with our Scotty. Next weekend we will be at Penn Wood with the Airstream

Scotties Welcom At Penn Wood

Ace,
Scotties are welcome at Penn Wood too...Right from our web site....

Normally Penn Wood is an Airstream-only park. However, other brands are permitted, providing it is not during a Pennsylvania Unit or WBCCI rally, as follows:
a) they are the guest of a member of the association
b) they are traveling together with an Airstream owner
c) they are in a "restored" vintage RV, 25 years or older
d) they are a member of a non-Airstream group which has arranged for a rally.

Kinda quiet here lately. I've been so busy with springtime activities and the Argosy that I've kinda neglected the Airstream. We were in it tonight because some friends visited that have not seen the improvements from over the winter. The next time the trailer rolls is to the Bash. Can't wait to see all the other TAC and Scotty friends.

No, we are trying to live within our means. With half the trailers we budgeted for, there needed to a slight adjustment. Breakfast will be more than hearty, I promise.

Frank:

Eggs are a very significant part of the breakfast of my family everyday. No kidding...I eat 2 everyday, the kids 1 or 2, Andrea 1. We feel it's a very natural and nutritious food. Ya know, the incredible edible egg. Anyway, I feel strongly enough about it so I will pledge to donate the cost of purchasing enough eggs to serve them every morning that you and your crew is preparing breakfast, so long as Ace or someone is willing to cook them.

I too would contribute to the "incredible edible egg" fund! Pen and checkbook in hand.

I saw "bacon" so I'm happy. Bacon makes everything better.
