Does Quartzside run on Daylight Savings Time? Not that the time matters when I'm CAMPING.
And how come nobody told me. I should be home by now.
oooooohhhhhmmmmm...I really have to cut back on the performance enhancing stuff, these red hots are addictive.

Mr TC,
As for plinkin', same as fireworks...it's really flat land, and plinkers can go a fur distance without encounterin resistance...probably not a good direction to aim at...but you have the right, and the Glock has never put me in harm''s way...I suspect we can find a place or two that will be safe for in-n-out practice...bring yer permit...or settle for a horseshoe toss, or desert golf(Milo, bring extra wiffles), or Bocce ballistics, or kite flyin(got one at Wallyworld last week), or other non-offensive(to our feds) games of pleasure...the only rules I can see are there are no rules, until someone tells you there are...might be a tetch late, at that point, but just come with what you got, and play with what you want...just remember that the shiny things and their occupants are, indeed, off limits...
JimMini, I could use a BLOODY MARY right about now...have a new twist...Tabaso CHIPOTLE SAUCE makes a good smoky flavor...Haven't really used much MARY in it, yet, but...
C'mon guys and gals...we're still here and waitin'...

Arizona does not run on DST. Quartzsite time will be the same as California. We did that so our Cal friends would not have to make any adjustments.

Just got home so no CG res for me yet.
I'll see what's up in the AM.
I think I got my hall pass approved for the AZ run.
Woo and almost hoo.
TIMES...how about you?
I sure hope I bear no resemblance to Tim's ex
or at least I hope that his aim is really bad.
And I will probably bring Holly...the petite little 100 pound Lab.

I'm reserving my TTQ vote until I see the talent portion of the competition.
This needs to be a fair contest...no hanging chads please.

Wanda,
It is still up in the air this morning, however, it is looking better today than yesterday. If we can make it, our plan is to overnight in Desert Hot Springs on Thursday with an early roll out on Friday.

Okay, I'm headed out to the Base in a few (Luke AFB that is..."1/2-way" to Quartzite! Maybe I'll just keep on driving!) Gonna stock up for the trip. Anybody need anything? I was reading up on making the beer green individually since I can't get a keg of it that way (I did quite a study on it, actually). Green food dye does well in light colored beers but you have to use blue to get green in darker varieties. Any favorite flavors?
Reg
P.S. If you put the dye in first, you don't need a stirry-stick.

Dearest Cousins,
I have a very (ACK sized) full plate this week too
(especially after just getting back from *ahem* another rally)
so am a little last minute myself.
I will clean the trailer and repack assuming I'll be on my way.
Are you going to just show up at the CG or make a reservation?
When do you think you will know fer shur fer shur?
So many rallies, so little time,
Bam

At lunch today I went out and bought a set of golf clubs for the Q-Town Open. An almost matched PW and Putter. Set me back $3.98 at the local GoodWill thrift shop. Look out Tiger Woods!
