Verde Valley Rally ~ Arizona Unit
We just returned from our first-ever AS rally with the Arizona Unit at Picacho Peak. The Civil War Re-enactment was very interesting. We had such a good time I wanted to put the word out about the Verde Valley Rally.
The Verde Valley Rally in Cottonwood is scheduled for 4/17 -4/21 at the fairgrounds. Lots of free time to explore the area - fill up your National Parks Passport with stamps from Tuzigoot and Montezuma's Castle. Great shopping in Old Town Cottonwood, or you're only a few miles from Sedona; visit Alcantara winery, or the old mining town of Jerome. I've heard that fishing is great at the ponds in Deadhorse State Park.
