We won't be able to make it - bummer!

We won't be able to make it next weekend, after all. I found out that I have to work (I'm in IT, sometimes we have to work weekends).

Oh well, keeping our fingers crossed that we'll be there for Falluminum in October - any date yet and/or location?

I'll keep checking the boards for more information.

Sorry guys

I bet you win the "who came the farthest for the rally" contest. What are the hitch requirements/tow limits in the Middle East?

My wife, Becki, studied religious studies in Israel in the early '80's. You two will have to get together and compare notes to see how much/how little has changed in the last 20 years.

I love to watch the "Naked Archaeologist" as he uncovers bits and pieces that validate the history in the Bible. I'm alway fascinated that there are actually "things" that survive buried in the ground for literally thousands of years to be dug up and verified who they belonged to and when.

I am truly blessed to be going to help lead the worship and praise music for the Feast of Tabernacles. My first time there.

Ron thinks that maybe a half-dozen songs will drive away the crowd after the Pot-luck Saturday evening. I am not sure I can stop playing that quickly. He also wants to have more time socially, and family-wise.

We are curious about the BASS player for Friday evening that Alan was talking about (since Ron will NOT be there Friday). Will that same bass player be available Saturday? Ron is seriously thinking about not bringing his bass, because he wants to play more guitar, especially while he is singing (and he heard my bass playing).

Since Mario (ColdEspresso) will not be there, it looks like musically, Saturday will be mostly the three of us (Brad on drums, and Ron and I on guitar & vocals). I am hoping that Ron's daughter has the violin too. We have some rythym instruments that the crowd can also utilize to participate, but we could use another bass/guitar player (or keyboards). Any interest?

And by the way, I want to say a big thank-you to Ron for the great pizza while I was visiting. Better, fresher ingredients really do make better pizza! Danielsville GA has been blessed for 14 years now.

It looks like I will be attending my first rally and would like to contribute to the give away but not sure what to bring? I can also bring something for the pot luck but please do not ask that it be cooked as that would limit my invitation for a return to any rally (I can do Pop Tarts).

My site is A44 which appears to be in another area, will that be a problem? I will also bring the World Traveler so that I might learn more about it from all the experts.

Hey Bobwire, I remember you! You were riding a bike the last time we talked! Anyway, glad you will be joining us for the rally. You will meet some great folks and learn a lot at the same time. Desidou had to cancel last week, so his spot (F5) may still be open. You might want to PM him as I think he was going to hold on to it for a while in case someone wanted to move.

As for the pot luck, chips and dips as well as softdrinks are always good. No cooking there either.

Looking forward to actually meeting you next week!

I have been working on our Excella as weather permits. It is very nice inside and will be fun to stay in.
. ....But ....the big monster blue stripe has been attacked by many chemicals and yet it is still hanging on!!
Just a warning- to all who view this trailer, look at your own risk! The combination of colors, aluminum, stripper residue and more can be harmful to your vision!

Hopefully at least a portion of it will be harmless.
