I made and tossed five pots tonight before Karen and I enjoyed a really good cup. Thanks again all.

Just got home myself and I miss you all already. (Well almost all of you... ) I had a great time even with the record cold snap and as I suspected the warm people, the warming beverages, and the blistering hot fire pits helped a lot. I now know just how much fun it is to chip ice out of my sewer hose...almost as much fun as the impromptu yet fascinating 3 hour talk on the proper care and feeding of Melmac Dinnerware. Though it was a little hard to sit still that long in formal wear it was worth it. Thanks Kev.

Also outstanding were the variety of potlucks we had though I do personally apologize that the dreaded fruitcake showed up at every one. I appreciate Paula and Steve finally taking it away and towing it home.

We solo women had a scenic mini caravan through Joshua Tree National Park as we left and then went on to Palm Springs for some sight seeing and sport shopping before branching out to head home in three different directions.

*silently and with great reverence demonstrates secret handshake*

Good times.

yes,the brookpark modern design seminar... how soon we all forget, and to think i gave the short version. retail therapy an often under rated activity, close to my heart, but not as close as the day we spent looting those ancient indian burial mounds, together, but not together. the thought warms the vary cockels of my heart... just remember, anything i can do to lower your standards, just let me know. i'm here for you. as always, kevbo

P.S. the coffee was decaf so we cound have tasty cappicino's and Latte's at night.

P.P.S. Would Ron blame the dog for that aroma? Hmmmmm. I really hope it was the dog. No human should be able to do that.

thanks for a good shiny time!

Thanks for a great rally guys (and super trailer chicks).
I arrived home to a burst ceiling pipe, thank goodness I had all of
my smilie pocket shirts with me in my trailer. This will be a great opportunity
to get that wardrobe in silver I've always dreamed about . Life goes on...!

Osa & I had a great time meeting everyone hanging out with y'all.
Thanks for being such wonderful neighbors.

Thank you Milo & Paula for organizing a great rally, well done & encore!
(And thank you for the adapters!)

Paul, I am forever grateful for you delivering my doggie, Osa aka "Houdini" to me at the potluck. (Osa will be leading the next rallly seminar on "How to bust out of a locked an barricaded Airstream", hurry dogs, slots are filling up).

I am soooo happy that I have met up with my fellow West Side Trailer Sistas!
(Meredith, we're saving a spot for you!). I loved our caravan through Joshua Tree.

You are all wonderful and so kind. Thanks for a great time. We hope to see you at another rally soon. Lotus /Coloma is a great spot for a rally, hint hint...

Cheers,
Kristiana & Osa doggie

Home at Last..

Memories of Twenty Nine (Degrees) Palms...

- Camera still too cold to download photo's. Hope to have it warmed up by tonight

- Learned a lot of useful things about camping in arctic

- Fine Mexican "Sit Down Dinner" on Sunday, China optional...

- Realizing tha SigAlert and closure of I-5 over Grapevine means another detour, and a few extra hours to go home via Santa Barbara...

- Learning that driving on LA freeways with monster cold, coughing and sniffling with headache is less fun than doing it when you feel good... Sudafed, Tylenol and Roadside Dark Roast Coffee... Yum....

- Propane is good, you can never have too much!

- Airstreams can handle more than sometimes assume...

- Single Electric Blanket fits the "Queen" bed in an Airstream..

- Palm Springs technically warmer (overnight lows 33 degrees v. 16 degrees) but not warm enough for use of pools and spas and other expensive features of Outdoor Resorts RV Park (and NO WiFi...)

- Antiquing in Joshua Tree/Yucca Valley trumped by "Premium Outlet Malls" at Morongo west of Palm Springs.. (Sigh..)

Had a great time, enjoyed the Forum crowd! Sure hope it's warm at Russian River...

Guilty!
And what a mall it was...I looked at a pair of shoes that cost almost as much as my trailer.
(Sigh...too)
