Phoenix BBQ Sunday

Just a reminder the Phoenix BBQ is this Sunday for those who live in the area or are just passing through. Bring a dish and your good humor. And I really need someone to finish my polishing...

Details on Rally Calendar.

Thank You

Dave & Joanne -
Jan and I had a great time at you house this afternoon. It was great to meet several forum members for the first time. Great food, great people and some great stories, what more could you want! Thank you so much for holding this event! Sorry we did not get the FC polished, maybe next time.

Thanks Richard. We had a great time as well and are looking forward to your rally, where the polishing can continue. The dogs are zonked now after showing off for you all.

I'd like to add our thanks, again Dave and Joanne. The food was great and the hospitality was exceptional. Your's was the first A/S get-together that we attended and you made us feel right at home. We look forward to returning the favor soon.

And I thought you guys hung out together all the time. It was a fun day and can't wait to do it again.

Running very late

Hey Dave,
Sorry we missed your BBQ.

We were delayed at the U-Haul rental store in Belmont, CA. I had made a trailer reservation in advance and when we got there found out that they could not hook it up to my 2005 Yukon. I had to find an auto store to buy a 7wire to 4wire adapter and a 2" hitch. You would think that U-Haul should be a one stop service.
The next "gotcha" is California's 55mph limit for cars with trailers

Hope to meet everyone at the Cottowood rally in Feb.

I just found this thread. How did I miss this? I had a great time too. Just proves that AS'ers are great folks all around and after just a few minutes, have become good friends. Thanks for your hospitality and we're going to hold you to your word about having the FC out in February.

Dave & Joanne:

Marge and Harry add their compliments for your hospitality on Sunday. We are glad we spotted your announcenment and were able to attend. It was great to meet all who attended. It prompted us to sign up for Cottonwood in February.

Thanks again!

Glad you both had a good time Harry. It was nice to meet you. Now if we can just get Marge and Joanne to start polishing...

Ohh, it will be there. It will either be luxuriously done, in which case Joanne will be with me, or it will resemble a soup can on wheels, in which case she won't.
