Hi Juel.
I must admit we have partaken of a couple of cocktails tonight.
Bill was celebrating the Phixing of the Hose.
I have been celebrating the relandscaping of the front yard. I have found the PhD stands for Pshovel handle Doesn't fit his hand.
berk
wish you were going to be there next weekend!

Attention! Attention! You all need to be careful not to park under the west side of the trees at the Compton Ridge Campground. Arboricultural studies have shown all native trees in Missouri lean to the west because Kansas SUCKS! HA! (2air I couldn't resist)

Haha Zamboni...who knew forresting jokes could be that funny . Wish you could join us this week, but hopefully we can look into April.
As for the razor..errrr umm..pork shoulder...It finished it's 13 hour bath in wonderful hickory and applewood smoke. I am waiting for it to cool enough so I don't burn my hands while pulling it. My house smells like a smokehouse, and twice my neighbors asked if I was burning something today.
Mike, nice to see you will be there a little early. Perhaps you can show me your Burning Man photo album .

I barely had one Airstream floor in me. Been working on a rent house trying to get it ready for renters by 10/15. Still have to poly the hardwood floors, but I will be done.
then I need to go out and get the Airstream somewhat liveable......like caulk the bathroom and do something with the couch that isn't there or else we will be entertaining on lawn chairs.
Looking for ward to the rally

Since I do not have to smoke the shoulder there, I have freed up alot of time. We can eat anytime on Friday. Will most folks attending the potluck be ready around 530 or 600?

Bill,
We both get there Wednesday, so we can jam whenever. I used to play set in High School, so I am hoping to play that snare a little bit (I am bringing my Pro-Mark 747 Neil Peart signiture series sticks in case you allow it.
6 PM has not been objected to yet, so until someone has a problem it will be our start time for food. Of course...we CAN do happy hour(s) before then.
Just finishing the final touches on my New 19' Army Signature series airstream.

Hi Airhog1,
We love our 28 footer -- can't wait to meet everyone in Branson -- I've had so much fun reading everyone's posts! Anticipation . . . it's a good thing!
We will be stopping by your place on Wednesday a.m. for a little service stop and will make sure we find you and say hello if you're around. Then it's on to Branson.
Thanks again for all your support!
Debbie

We're back from working on the rental house (now for-sale house since we decided we will not be going back to live there) in Dallas and I laughed so hard reading through the TEN+ pages of commentary since late last week! The one-upmanship was great!
Ooo! Counting them down until Branson! I am so sorry we have to get in late Friday, but at least we'll be there for Saturday's activities!
I *may* have a special prize to add to the prize package for the winning chili (unless it's mine, then it goes to the second-place winner ). It's darn cool (or should I say HOT!), and hopefully it will arrive in time for me to bring.
We are really looking forward to it! As Brad says, "Only three more days and a wake-up!"

No problemo - it's a sweet snare that Noble&Cooley! Make sure and bring your ge-tar, too! Them PM 747's some big sticks! Got me a pair or two... mostly for live outdoor stuff. Usually using 5A's or 7A's though, mic'd... gonna be brushes in Branson... hummm...
From the thread, looks like some folks are players... hope their bringing their axe with 'em... We're headed out early manana... stopping in north eastern OK for the night. That's one purdy state, Oklahoma is.

I am considering a raffle basket for Saturday night if anyone is interested. I will be providing a bottle of wine towards it.
For the chili competition....
Chili will be judged on three criteria. Color, Aroma, and Taste.
I will provide sample cups to be given to the judges. These cups will be marked with a letter designated at random for each chili cook. I have read some rules on other chili cook offs and they allow no additives like rice, bean, hominy, etc. I personally have never cooked chili without beans, so this rule is going right out the window. Besides, I don't want someone making a chili and being DQ'd like someone at Beverly Beach.
Lastly, I will apologize in advance for my son. For some reason over the last three weeks he has turned into a complete monster. I began this posting over an hour ago, but have had to take time out to chase him around. He is currently naked...running around the house refusing to wear a diaper. Now...as much as that sounds like a certain forums member with a 34' limited...just remember that my son is only three.
Parenthood..ahhhhhh.
Steve
