NorCal : NorCal Spring Rally, Casini Ranch, April 13-15, 2012

We camped last year at Casini and had site 36. We also checked out other sites. 36 was very nice until the wind kicked up. Not much protection and was a bit dusty. 47 had arguably the best views but was also exposed to the wind. 2-20 have electric and water and are protected from the wind but right next to each other. 62 through 68A have electric and water (riverfront) and are farther apart.

We chose 20D, on the end. We actually have reservations for May at Casini and we have 62 which looked like a good site from our research last year.

I for sure would NOT WASTE my time asking Casini if the river is "safe". That is a personal decision. Some of us are skilled boaters, others not so much. We're bringing our kayaks and probably 2 extra's if Vinnie reserves them.
Just bring your boats , we can always fill them with beer and ice.

Hey Tim...I would love to join you but I'm sporting the Air rig so no room but if I can get Stan or Cam to valet for me and weather is willing I will be a floating with ya all!. I am seriously bringing name tags cuz I wanna know all these wonderful peeps but there is now way in water I'll remember em all. Looking like a great round up.

I have to admit to printing out Jeff's campground maps and making notes to help me remember who was where and who they were on the forum. I think this year I'll just post it up in the trailer. It's overwhelming meeting all the new faces, but I don't want to forget anyone. We've met so many wonderful people.

Not only are there people's names to remember, but also forum names, trailer names, trailer details, etc.

Bodega was fantastic this past weekend. the weather was perfect but for a few hours of wind on sunday morning. it was blowing 16-18 from sunrise till around 10 am then calmed down. here's a shot of about 1/3 of the folks attending. the other s were at the feedbag at the time of this photo!! I did not win anything tho Linda Lu won a T shirt !
There are a few great places to enjoy seafood at Bodega Bay, just a 30 minute drive south of Casini!!

Based on the size of this group we are going to need more tables wagon master!

Last year we had 10 tables with no elbow room

Cant wait for happy hour and the typical arrival of Robert and his gang. The beer bucket will be waiting as usual.

Tomorrow is February already.. the countdown is on! 73 days and counting!

BTW.. when does winter start? Hopefully not on day 74
