Great time had by the Terra's! Thanks to all for sharing your ideas, trailers and your PETS! Shelby (5) wanted to go take photos with the animals, little did she know it was my ploy to go talk to all the people! Here are a few of the fur, feather and fin we met: Heidi, coco, pepsi, speedy, jackey, lacy, Bailey, addie, Murphy ( in no particular order). There were plenty of names (fur and owners) that have already escaped my memory! Names to remember: first names, last names, forum name, trailer model name, and pet name... I need a beverage!!! I guess we need to all meet again in the spring to refresh my memory and add new ones!
Michelle, Shelby, Guy, Robert and Bowen (our furs not in attendance : boggie, ruby, and Molly )

6am...gettaway day for us and most of the remaining ralliers. Last eve, Monday, Lynn and I joined doorgunner and Nancy, Bob and Lee lee, Paul and Dee, Jeff, and Jeff,Kathy and Colin for snacks and MNF with a fire in the fireplace in the 'retreat room'. A nice finish to a great gathering. Hopefully, we'll see you all at Casini in the Spring. Thanks to doorgunner and Nancy for the fireside socials and bocce ball fun. Thanks to Jeff (Coastalview) for all the organizing. That can be a stressfull job and he does it with a smile.

On our way home.
Hi, this morning we packed up and headed toward Lakewood. I hitched up last night about the same time as Mexray, but he left and we planned on leaving in the morning. As we drove out of the park, Boo-Boo was having a fit. He seems to do that at camp grounds where we stay a few days or more and where he has fun with other animals and people. Farther down the road, he knows we are moving on and not turning back. We are in Bakersfield for the night and it is warm. I wanted a place to stop at so I could open my awning and let it dry out from the rain. When we are at home, I don't have room to open it. I just checked my awning and it is dry, so I rolled it up and it is ready for our next trip. Tomorrow we will be home again.

Just doesn't seem...right.
Home that is. After such a great time our home welcomed us with a full 4" in it's rain gauge and a wide open garage refer freezer door . I guess I didn't close it after filling the ice chest and the trailer freezer.
We were the last to pull out of JRRV by a hair behind acgypsy, warbler5, ROBERTSUNRUS, coastalview and doorgunner. Just a beautiful morning. We stopped at the Rancheria gas station and topped off the tank and treated ourselve to a slurpee and pina collata. 1/2 + an hour later we were in Placerville's Walmart. Lynn cannot pass one up. Home and after colecting our mail I turned our rig around with a tight 3 pt maneuver. It was chilly in the house so I started a fire in the fireplace and fell asleep in my recliner. Ahhh, Home. I should awake in time for Casini.

Thanks everyone for another great Jackson get-together! Here's hoping things will fall right so we can sneak away to Cassini in the spring.

Thanks to everyone for another awesome rally at Jackson!
It's all of us that contribute ourselves that make these rallies successful
I could ramble on but I like to chat rather than put it in text.
I'll be posting several links here soon for our up coming rallies!
Let me get my spreadsheets in order

Hi, we are home now and things are almost like normal; It hit 101 degrees today and we are having a heat wave. Also, the first thing on TV was about someone who shot nine people in a hair salon, in Seal Beach. Last I heard was that eight were dead. On our 50 day Alaska trip, we never even took our TV out and it was so nice not to hear all of the [bad]news.
Anyway, we, [Bob, Lee Lee, and Boo-Boo] would like to thank everyone for such a great time we had at Jackson Rancheria. We want to thank all of those who set this Rally up as well as all of those who attended.
My Lincoln did another wonderful job handling our trailer. As for the Safari, I had the very first interior light bulb burn out, my Ikea towel rack came loose, [quick fix with my pocket screwdriver] and I had to replace two closet door hinges.

Hi, Lili. Are checking this out? The big Pumpkin weighs 1,250 lbs and the smaller one only weighs 1,000 lbs.

Thanks again to Wagonmaster Jeff!!
Sincere thanks to Jeff for volunteering to handle all of the reservations, placements, late adds and cancellations, and even a few people who didn't know what they'd signed up or paid for... (Sigh..)
A few pictures finally downloaded from phone to computer to editor to disk... Looking forward to Russian River and beyond...

Becky and I had a great time at our first ever rally! Every one made us feel very welcome and it was great to put faces to everyone we have met on the forum. We have already booked next year so we will be closer to the action and not at the far end of the park. We are also planning to make the Casini rally in the spring.
After departing the rally in the rain Tuesday morning we went to Yosemite and set up camp at Hodgdon Meadows. We had a great time exploring the Valley and up Hwy 120 to Tioga Pass (dry roads but still lots of snow still on the ground!).
On our way home after 2 weeks of living in our wonderful AS, Becky suggested we should keep the trip going through the weekend (what a great woman I married!). So... We stopped at Lake Cachuma, dropped off the trailer, then took Becky home to go to work today. So Heidi and I are are here at the lake (108 outside 88 inside) and Becky will be here Friday afternoon. Should start to cool off by then and we will continue to explore the local wineries.
We are looking forward to seeing all of you at the next rally or on the road. Thanks again to all of you for making our first rally so much fun!

I saved some 'pot luck' leftovers for you. I'll give 'em to you at Casini.
