Hi, For Your Information, Lakewood uses well water. I only get Artichokes from Northern California.

O.K. Robert!!!
You must live in one of those "we'll take care of our own" communities. That's cool.
you get a free pass.lol
just keep the artichokes away from the dogger blue boys. It's common knowledge that consumption of artichokes improves hand eye coordination, something the choker doggers could benefit from.
just a reminder, Robert, you still need to have your papers in order prior to arrival.
I'm looking forward to meeting the laughing squid also. he he

Lakewood is one of the few cities that has it's own water wells within the city limits. I could care less about the Dodgers or any other similar sports. I only share my artichokes with my wife.

Just a reminder, Robert, you still need to have your papers in order prior to arrival. The only papers I need to bring are sort-of green, 2 5/8" X 6 1/8" in size, and have several different values.

Contractor paving 11,12,13,14,15

Aint that sweet? This afternoon in the weekly meeting the contractor announces he's paving the 11, 12, 13, 14, 15 on the Minden Airport job I'm on. Only days he can get their paving crew. Best way I know for work to happen is to make plans for Jackson or Casini.
Since I'm inspecting this job looks like I won't get to to Jackson this year.

Can you kinda break a leg or something......we would welcome the handicap.............sigh, retirement is soooo non-committal.

Hi, actually I was in the United States Army for two whole years. We were somewhat isolated in Baumholder, Germany. [no contact with other branches of the military] I was a jack of all trades, but was trained as a Medic. And before you jump on this one, I carried an M-14.

Yes, after reading some of these comments people wouldn't think that we are actually friends.

just curious

Hey everyone. Im new here although ive had 4 airstreams over the past ten years or so ive never done a rally. I just obtained two trailers and I will be travelling through the Sacramento area on my way home to nor cal with the first on the 12 or 13. Although neither of my trailers is usable, i was wondering what the rules are about stopping by on my way home just to check things out and get some photos. Is the campground accessible to folks that are not staying ?

Cool, can't wait to see the pics! We are really looking forward to this trip. We need some R&R before the $hIt hits the fan again.
See you soon,

Cost to Rally going up.

Hi, gas prices are sky rocketing just before the Jackson Rancheria Rally. Just the other day Premium was at $4.49 per gallon. Tonight, although I bought gas for $4.80 per gallon, many gas stations were at $4.86 per gallon. [my vehicles require Premium fuel]

I'm just gonna hold my breath until the contractor happens to change the paving schedule, that's all. I know work is good and all, but sheesh!

What's the parking situation for those who don't have a trailer space? Jeff? Anyone?

Question about dogs at Jackson: we'll be bringing Maggie, our terrier, and wondered about bringing her into the casino. I assume not, but so many places are dog friendly now, I thought I'd ask. We also have a Sherpa bag and have snuck her in places, fortunately for us, she's really mellow. Scott wants to try gambling, who'd a thunk it, and we don't want to leave her in the trailer or TV. We're really excited about joining you all there, it's coming up fast!

Peter, if I'm just hanging out with my spinning wheel, I'd be happy to puppy sit for an hour or two.

Okay, Airstreams officially make the world smaller.

Not only do our recently added attendees, Mark and Denise, live in the next town over from us, it turns out that Denise and I are on the same page of our high school yearbook! We didn't know each other then, but I think that might be about to change.

Tread lightly, my man, she may have interesting 'campfire' stories about you.
