Gas prices

Price of gas has sneaked down a few cents, it is now $2.799/gal. St Pete should be about ten cents/gallon less than that. It is gettin gcheaper to go than it was, it's pretty bad that I am talking about 2.80 a gallon gas as cheap...

Just read on another forum, this person was there this past weekend and said it was real bad, stunk so bad they had to leave, all kinds of sea life was washing on shore. Hope it clears before you have the rally but don't look to good right now. Marvin

So, who gets "volunteered" to throw the fish to us intrepid fisherpersons, so we can honestly say we caught it?

Well, I wouldn't want to eat road kill... What gets these fish? Oxygen deprivation or the bacteria itself? (Just morbid curiousity.)

One Week...

It's now one week before the rally, if you don't have your reservations by now, you may have a tough time getting a spot.
We'll see you there!

We drove by Fort Desoto park twice today, and there is no sign of Red Tide there, this is a good thing.
I am currently monitoring tropical storm Rita, it is expected to pass well to the South of us, and make a beeline for Brownsville, Texas.

Rita expected to continue West

The latest track of soon-to-be-hurricane Rita is taking it somewhere between the Mexican border, and Corpus Christi, and the weather will clear by tomorrow here.
The forecast for this coming weekend is sunny and breezy, with less chance of rain than usual. Bring sunscreen and shorts!
