Lake Cahuma sounds like a good one, not too far, no reservation needed, just go and have some fun. Needless to say, we won't be underbeveraged there...

perhaps we should rent a pontoon boat and take the margi ball sight seeing... poor thing hasn't been out much.
They make a mean French Onion Soup too. And I don't even like soup. But everything goes with a cold beer.

Hey, I don't see the soup on that menu. Could it have been their chile I am remembering? Well, like I said, everything goes with cold beer. Especially with lots of it.

mr str8,
i'm liking you more n more.
lets goto lake cahcuma.
have a family outing at the tavern on one hand and then theres that little town just down the road...
Climb aboard the 45-passenger "Osprey" for a 2-hour lake tour with a naturalist. From November through February, tours focus on the Bald Eagles and unusual birds who make Cachuma Lake their winter home. From March 1 through October, the cruise takes a look at area wildlife, wildflowers, and resident birds along the shore. Reservations: (805) 686-5050 weekdays, (805) 686-5055 weekends. $15/adults; $7/child 12 and under. More details.
bet if we were extra nice to mr T, he'd be the captain on our three hour cruise...
RENTALS INCLUDE a clean boat, oars or paddle, anchor and rope, gasoline for rental motors and life jackets, which must be worn by each passenger upon entering boat.
after we enter the boat, it's ta-kill-ya, clothes fall off, stereo on, and the tour begins...
has anyone seen the skipper and maryann??? or the professor?
