Around the World 1962 Overlander belonging to Doc and Mrs. Yeagers (5289) is now in Colorado sitting on our patio awaiting its restoration. We bought it from Herb and Sidra back in January 2011, and towed it home with our 2010 Seated Merc. Sprinter Van. With bearings repacked, new tires, temporary exterior lighting and frozen Henschen axles, it made the trip west with incident, albeit rode like a brick.

Boy Chris and Jim, I understand that ride like a brick feel, that was the trip back from California. When do you think 5289 will get some work done? Glad to know it's in good hands!

Goranson,
Trailer reconstruction work may begin this summer, after a few local rallies and seeing the EAA. At least we will dismantile what's left of the interior for duplication.
