On mine, the inverter powers both the front outlet by the 2nd row streetside seat and the one in the rear behind the curbside dual wheel house. Also the fridge only runs off the house batteries if no 120 VAC is available, i.e., no inverter, no shore power, or no generator.

I like the matrix idea but it almost has to be 3D which sort of defeats the purpose.

Perhaps this is the thread to ask this question... I sure hope so! I have a new Xantrex 2000w inverter that I want to somehow "hardwire" or tap into an outlet, so that i dont have to crawl under the bed to plug a phone in to charge, and I would like to use it for a blender, coffee maker, etc. Can someone advise how to run wire from the "outlet" on the inverter to an existing outlet and wire it into that outlet? There is a outlet above the inverter where I positioned it under the back bed now, so it would be clean to do this, i just dont know what wire to use or what to do to get it "hardwired"
Thanks in advance!

Go to the Xantrex web site and down load a copy of the installation instructions for the specific model Xantrex 2000w inverter you have. They can be found under the "Support" tab. Here is a link to the Xantrex inverter product page.

Thanks Mike, but I know how to install the box, its very simple, but I want to take the GFI outlet that it comes with and wire it up to an outlet on the wall. Does that make sense?

If it's a standard GFIC outlet, it will have a set of terminals labeled LOAD. You can connect one or more outlets to those and they will be protected but will also be off when the GFIC is tripped.
