We ended up getting this bulb below (new bulb on right, original at left), which works despite being neither the correct length nor diameter. My husband bought them via Amazon's targeted marketing (embedded ads). When I asked him why on earth he committed to a bulb that clearly didn't have the same specs as the original, he said, "Because I wanted to test Amazon's AI". In other words, it was worth the price of admission to him just to see whether their algorithm-matched product would function.
Sigh.
There's a caveat in our case, though - something is amiss with the floor lighting system and it's an on-again-off-again effect. It seems to be due to a short in the wiring (which we haven't yet touched) rather than the chosen replacement LED bulbs. It's on my troubleshooting priority list but somewhat lower down. I'd really like to be able to use those floor lights eventually.
