I ordered some of the 6.1mm diameter ones.
I'll post up if they work when I get them.

I received the LED replacements.
Easy to fit- they are polarity sensitive- so if they don't light, flip.
I found the rotation matters- so find a place where the light shines out the way you like.

The new LED and the original bulbs

The LED in the fixture

Original light:

LED (noticeably whiter- it is all indirect so I didn't think a big deal)

We ended up getting this bulb below (new bulb on right, original at left), which works despite being neither the correct length nor diameter. My husband bought them via Amazon's targeted marketing (embedded ads). When I asked him why on earth he committed to a bulb that clearly didn't have the same specs as the original, he said, "Because I wanted to test Amazon's AI". In other words, it was worth the price of admission to him just to see whether their algorithm-matched product would function.

Sigh.

There's a caveat in our case, though - something is amiss with the floor lighting system and it's an on-again-off-again effect. It seems to be due to a short in the wiring (which we haven't yet touched) rather than the chosen replacement LED bulbs. It's on my troubleshooting priority list but somewhat lower down. I'd really like to be able to use those floor lights eventually.

Hooray! Success, mostly. There are different color temperatures for LED's but in festoon bulbs, you're limited.
After this thread calmed down I found a video which had another vendor:

Great vid - I wish I'd known about their coverage sooner (love RV Geeks). I'll be going to their supplier in the future. They are correct in that "cheap" often means "criminally cheap". A few years back, we tried to buy a larger multiple LED for our dining room fixture in our stick and brick house. Danged thing actually burned up.

I ordered LED plate lights from M4LED last year for the kitchen under cabinet lights last year. Couldn't be happier.
Their web site has spec sheets for all their products and a comparative color chart for the available Kelvin ranges.
Coincidentally I just ordered a few more plates and bulbs for the bath and bedroom lights.
