A Fond Farewell

I have been a member of this group for quite sometime. I started with Airstream with a 25 foot Flying Cloud. Then I went big time with a 2018 Airstream Grand Tour Interstate with a Tommy Bahama package and rear air suspension.

I sold my interstate yesterday. It was really sad to see it go. I wanted to thank all of you. When I got confused, you were there. When I found something unique out, you were there. When I had problems, you were there. When you needed advise on how to properly buy or work with an RV dealer, hopefully I was there for YOU.

Thank you all and hope to see all of you again some day.

This forum has been very helpful to me as well. I used the advice here (and youtube) to fix/improve/modify all the many things on my used Avenue class b. Saved me a fortune and many hours of down time if I had to take my rv to a shop (and that assumes I could find a competent one locally).

But now that those items are fixed and my van is performing well for several trips, I still enjoy reading this forum daily. So don't go. Just lurk, contribute, or live on the road vicariously through others stories and pictures.

See you down the road.

You'll be back. I had Airstream trailers and motorhomes almost continuously for twenty years... and then bought a Born Free motorhome and Bigfoot travel trailer. Then... a B-190 "B-Van" and now an '04 Interstate... they seem to come and go out of folks' lives.

I've been a member here since '03 and a lurker when Andy first started the site in '02. I'm going to our 16th Midwest Airforums Rally in LeRoy IL this weekend.

Nice people, fun times... stick around.
