We are learning that each day. My wife wanted a puppy and i thought it might be a good idea to get a lab that was trained and possibly 2 years old.. i lost!

Today i just went out and bought ANOTHER pair of dress shoes for work..

Yeah, we met a dog this weekend that is an Aussie Cowdog mix with two brown eyes, and that gave us some more clues. Can't figure out where he got the LONG hair from, though. It's long like a border collie, but not wavy, and it's more the texture of a Blue Heeler's.

Either way, he's a great dog, and we're glad we found him!

You know a dog can be a mix of several breeds. One dog can have multiple fathers so to speak.

Not quite correct. A litter may have multiple sires, but each pup will have only one sire.

Your right, sorry for the confusion. I should have said one dog may sire pups from multiple fathers. If any of those fathers are mixed then the pup could be a mixture of several different breeds.
