New Tricks Pics

Who says you can't teach an old dog new tricks? Here is a picture of Buckeye (soon to be five year old Chessapeake Bay Retriever) airborn off the end of the dock into the water to retreive his dummy duck. Three weeks earlier he would only jump into the shallow water where he could touch bottom.
It was fun to see him progress.

Great pic...congrats on the "new tricks!" I'm not sure I could get out cockers to do that voluntarily... although, once when we were camping near a lake, our blonde saw some ducks just off the shore of the lake and took a flying leap after them. I didn't know dogs could look shocked and surprised, but she sure did when she hit that water! After a few seconds of not knowing just what to do, she started dog-paddling and was back to shore in no time.

Aren't our furry friends just the greatest!?

Great picture. I would love to get Gracie on a dock to see if she is a long jumper. In the pool at home, she love to dive in, but perfers to keep hae head out of the water.

Here's our Toy Fox Terrier, Sebastian "Sabby". He is a momma's boy and gets away with whatever he wants.

Here is Bandit. She is 15 1/2, very spunky, 100% deaf and moma's girl. Talk about a dog that can do no wrong....

I'm wondering if this would work with my older brother. He doesn't swim the best so hangs out in the shallow area. Maybe if I get a rubber beer bottle I can teach him to swim in deeper water?

Great photo of your pup in action. Life is sure good for our pets. We treat them better than royalty.

Barry,
(Thats funny!) Great idea, he has to want it bad enough to be willing to be helped (pushed in) and come back for more. A beer bottle with a PFD personal floatation device) might work wonders.

Wish my batteries were charged up! Dharma had both paws sprawled over the arm of my sofa and looked just like a bear skin rug...what a ham!!! BTW, Riley is just too cute!

I know how that is! I've lost my couch, my most comfortable chair and a good 3/4 of my queen sized bed to my two Labs

Here is a picture from the recent 4CU rally at Meteor Crater. You can tell that the 4CU is a very dog friendly unit. All of the dogs are in this photo. Can you find them all?

11 is the correct number, not bad for 7 trailers!
