We were chosen!
Here is a picture of our kitty, Tuffy shortly after he adopted us!
One day our son was getting in his car going to school.... this kitty jumped in his lap. He brought him in the house and asked the big question, "Can we keep him, Mom?" Couldn't say no!

What a tender picture! He's waiting patiently at the bridge, awaiting your reunion.

Cody's tennis ball rolled into the gopher hole. I caught him with his head in the hole trying, in vain, to retrieve the ball.
We never did find it!

Hey! Something just clicked with me...is your forum name "codybear" your nickname for your dog Cody? If it is, I am chuckling because that is also my nickname for MY Cody!
With regards to the ball, we never found it. I tenatively, with much trepidation, put my hand down the gopher hole to attempt to retrieve the ball. Once my arm disappeared down the hole to my elbow, I started to freak out and pulled my arm out quickly. All I could think of was that scene from the movie "Dune" with the hand in the box.

How funny!!..we called Cody Codybear when he was a puppy, because he was so fluffy and furry like a little bear Cub!!!..now he's 2 and a lot trimmer!!!..so it's just 'Cody'...actually he comes quickly to you when you call him 'snack'!
btw, you're awfully brave to put your hand down there!..

New puppy!
Some of you might remember from a few pages back that we lost our sweet dog Buster in February. We hadn't really planned on getting another dog, at least not for a while, but my friend found two dropped puppies while walking and sent me a picture. That was "all she wrote!"
People who drop five-week-old puppies off should be hanged by their toenails! But due to someone like that we now have our "Arkansas Black Dog" Shadow. He definitely has Lab in him (loves water!), but we're not sure what else. I have never had a puppy, so it is a big learning experience for him and me.
Here's a pic of him when we got him (with his twice-as-big brother) and a pic of him a few weeks later. He's a handsome little fellow, and a lot of fun!

hollandranch, I love your donkey(s)! Donkeys are wonderful. Everyone should have one! Here's our Tom Terrific when we got him, with the previous owner showing us what to look for when you buy a donkey.

Great photos everyone! I have some great "tango" situations that happen in my house but I have been unable to capture them on film in time. The situations are between my cat and dog when they roll around on the floor playing with each other. A 95 pound Golden Retriever and a 13 pound cat romping around together is great fun to watch and maybe someday I will be able to capture the action.
In the meantime, here's a photo of Cody resting at the beach in between sessions of playing frisbee.

Can your dogs sing in harmony? Samm and Kai appear to be able to!
