Thanks everyone, we never feel like we can get enough nights in the cruiser but at least I can keep doing updates to her for the time being! We have had a lot of good travels with her and met many new friends! Definitely a good conversation starter!

In hibernation

What will this year bring for travels? I don't get on the forums to often but still like checking out new projects when I can!
Nellie has been taking my wife and I around the country for 8 years and a little over 30,000 miles so far. 2019 found us on the road for just over 100 nights!
It was a great year! Last year at this time we were on a beach in Texas.
Now with the virus of 2019 Nellie sits waiting in her barn.
Hopefully we will get on the road later in the year, until then we hope to make a few more updates.

Nellies 70Th. Birthday

Not sure if anyone looks at these old posts anymore but it's a big year for Nellie. She has given us so many memories over the last 12 years and 70,000 miles.
We had one blown tire in all of those miles, that was a bit exciting but we did ok and it gave us a good story!
She has brought us to gather with so many people, everyone is surprised at how old she is.
We feel very blessed and thankful for the journey!

Glad to see y’all are still at it. Vintage Airstream posts have slowed down dramatically. Good to see one now and then. Tell Nellie ‘happy birthday’. Back in 2021 our 55 Flying Cloud was 66 years old and our 66 Safari was 55 years old. Go figure. Safe travels.

Happy Birthday Nellie! We have another couple of years to go for Birdy to hit 70! Nellie is certainly in better shape than she was 15-16 years ago!!!
